We Will Remember
September 11, 2026
Twenty-five years later, I remember September 11th as clearly as any day of my life. From the Jersey side, we watched the unimaginable unfold across the river. In the weeks that followed, I volunteered where I could. Like so many others, I felt a responsibility to help and, ever since, a responsibility to remember.
For the 25th anniversary, NatureScape has donated a new permanent lighting installation for the Tower of Remembrance and its entry garden at the Shrine of Saint Joseph in Stirling. The 35-foot memorial incorporates steel recovered from the World Trade Center’s North Tower. Its walls bear the names of every person lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
This was a project with one purpose: to help an important place of remembrance remain visible after dark. It was an honor for our team to contribute work that will remain well beyond this anniversary.
We offer it in memory of those we lost and in recognition of the courage, service, and unity we witnessed in the weeks and months that followed.
Never forget.
Yours truly,
– Michael
