🌿 Spring 2025 Updates & Newsletter
First things first—Happy Mother’s Day to all our Mom clients. Whether your ideal celebration involves brunch and a bouquet or being left gloriously alone with coffee and quiet, I hope the day brings exactly what you need. We see you. We appreciate you. And we owe a lot of beautifully lit patios to your good taste.
Now, onto spring. May’s always busy, but this one’s a doozy—in the best way.
We’re kicking off Mansion in May at Wildfair, a historic estate in Chester that we had the honor of lighting for this year’s Designer Showhouse. I’m talking 250 years of stone and stories, now glowing in just the right places. If you’re attending, don’t rush through the gardens at dusk—trust me.
We’re also lacing up for The Valerie Fund Walk on June 7th. Walking in last year’s event moved me in ways I didn’t expect. And, so this year? We’ve formed Team NatureScape to walk in support of families going through the hardest times of their lives. A heartfelt thank-you to those who have already donated or signed up to join us—it means more than you know.
And speaking of heart, I’d like to officially welcome Leslie Morales, our newest team member and office whisperer. She’s brought a level of precision and care to our behind-the-scenes operations that we didn’t know we were missing until we had it.
So, if this spring has you thinking about freshening up your landscape lighting or planning a new project entirely—give us a call. You know where to find us.
With gratitude,
Michael
Mansion in May: Open through May 31st
If you’re heading to Mansion in May this year, keep your eyes peeled—and maybe wait until dusk.
NatureScape had the honor of designing and installing the outdoor lighting at Wildfair, a 250-year-old Georgian-style estate nestled in the hills of Chester, NJ. It’s not the kind of property that calls for theatrics. It calls for restraint, reverence, and just the right glow in just the right places. That’s where we came in.
Proceeds from Mansion in May benefit Gagnon Institute of Bioskills Training and Innovation at Morristown Medical Center—making this not just a showhouse, but a chance to light something bigger.
The Valerie Fund Walk: Verona Park Saturday, June 7th
We're shining Bright for Valerie’s Kids. Last spring, I walked for Camy—a friend’s daughter bravely facing a rare brain cancer. This year, Team NatureScape is walking for all the kids and families supported by The Valerie Fund. Because no family should walk that road alone.
The event is full of heart, and a few tears, but also laughter, high-fives, and community at its best. If you’ve already donated or signed up to walk—thank you. You’re part of something truly good.
Meet Leslie Morales: Lighting the Way (from the Inside)
Every great outdoor lighting design has one thing in common: intention behind the scenes. That’s also a great way to describe Leslie Morales, our new Office Administrator.
Leslie is the kind of person who brings clarity to chaos and calm to a calendar. She’s helped streamline how we work, how we communicate, and how your experience with us feels from start to finish. She doesn’t carry a voltage tester—but she’s been quietly powering us all forward.
We’re lucky to have her. And if your next service call or project feels surprisingly smooth, now you know why.
